It was hard to tell what made Eric Vanderiviere happier – winning his fifth Windride Transportation Sport Stocks feature of the season or making an impressive debut in the Dover Sanitation UMP Late Models.
“It was exciting to do both, I had a blast in Brad’s car,” Vanderiviere said.
Vanderiviere hopes his strong fourth-place showing in Brad Authier’s backup car in the Late Model feature will land him another ride, perhaps in the season-ending Shootout on Sept. 25.
“We’ll see how he thinks I made out tonight,” said Vanderiviere.
Authier wasn’t able to see how Vanderiviere was doing himself – he was too busy winning the Late Model feature race for a fourth time in 2010.
